Yorkshire salon group, Westrow – which celebrates 30 years in business this month – has announced that its York salon has secured a place at the prestigious L’Oréal Colour Trophy Awards 2017 Grand Final.
Jody Toner, Artistic Director, Westrow York, went head to head with more than 40 of North East England’s brightest, fashion focussed hairdressers to secure his spot at the grand final in London on 5 June, where he will be competing in the L’Oréal Men’s Image Award Category.
Jody and the other finalists will have just one more opportunity in which to prove both their creative flair and technical ability in their chosen category. Not only will they compete to win their region, but they will also compete against the finalists from all the other heats to win the overall trophy in each category.
The overall winners in each category will pick up a once-in-a-lifetime prize package, which includes a European Trip to shoot their winning look, a fashion shoot with a leading consumer glossy magazine, plus endless opportunities throughout their winning year.
Said Westrow Director, Steve Rowbottom: “We are ecstatic that Jody will be competing in the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final. There is a real sense of excitement and achievement in the salons, and the whole group is so proud that Jody has been recognised for his work.
“Westrow has scooped the trophy in both the men’s and women’s L’Oreal Colour Trophy award at the Grand Final in previous years, and we hope this year will be another award-winning one for Westrow.”
